introspect on what role episodic memories have in your life; will you ever see them in your head exactly how the page turned that day? as memories change form, you lose the clarity. but in it's place, you create something new. and it's ever changing; the way you recall a memory today won't be the same in two years. ask yourself; are your memories reality or fiction? or do they lie elsewhere, in some sort of liminality? i think we make memories so that we can watch them grow into dreams. and that's the most delicate and beautiful part of loving your friends and making note of the scenes they play with you; your friends are also dreams.
lyrics
i miss everyone
that i have ever loved
and memories are all dreams
they look like infinity strings
pull back the clouds
i want to see your face
thought i'd be long gone
by the time i turned 21
the shadows bite so black
when i'm with you, i'm not sad <3
pull back the clouds
i want to see your face
and maybe one day
the world will figure out
how to repeat itself
and i'll get to love you
all over again
just like i do right now
and just like i did back then
it's the time looming over our heads
that makes the fantasy of life so sad
please don't wake me up yet
i've still got so many dreams left
